What can I possibly say that hasn’t already been said about this movie, except repeat “A MUST WATCH”…A very courageous conventional film that insists to take a good look at ourselves as parents, teachers and individuals and stop seeing all the children with the same eye as every child is different and special in their own way.
Flawless and simple direction, brilliant script and an unusual topic ‘dyslexia’ - Aamir Khan is wonderful though he makes an entry just before the interval, but what the heck, he is still amazing as always and Ishaan Awasthi aka Darsheel Safary is simply OUTSTANDING, it is only fair to say that he stole the show from Aamir Khan. The tender moments of the movie are touching and emotional, every aspect of the movie is exceptional.
The songs stay true to the film’s script but a serene number that moved me to tears is “Maa”, a heartfelt track with simple and effective lyrics. Shankar Mahadevan has outdone himself in this song….. Main Kabhi Batlata Nahin Par Andhere Se Darta Hoon Main Maa Yun To Main Dikhlata Nahin Teri Parwaah Karta Hoon Main Maa Tujhe Sab Hain Pata, Hain Na Maa..Tujhe Sab Hain Pata, Meri Maa
Every Child is Special and so is this movie.....Kudos to Aamir Khan for a heart warming directorial debut.
